From Rev. Sean Love
Dear brothers and sisters:
Greetings from St. John’s Richmond on this special day of new beginnings.
By July 1, 2012, we, too, will have to move to a new venue, so we understand what it is to be a pilgrim people. While physical space is important in this life, we await our true home, as every Christian person “desires a better country, that is, a heavenly one” (Hebrews 11:16). Abraham “looked forward to the city that has foundations, whose designer and builder is God” (Hebrews 11:10).On this journey we look to Almighty God for direction, timing, destination, and strategy along the way.
He has led you here to True light Chinese School for a purpose. Your purpose is to glorify Him, and you will do this as you continue to guard your soul, to trust God, and live in obedience to Him. Continue to be a fishing boat. Continue to pray for those around you, and speak to them of Jesus. Remember that God is your Father and great Shepherd, and that he will not leave you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers that he swore to them (Deuteronomy 4:31). “For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as the LORD our God is to us, whenever we call upon him? “(Deuteronomy 4:7).
Our prayers and love and blessing go with you in this new place of meeting, and in all your endeavors.
