It was a fresh snowy morning as we go early for the set up and clearing of snow on the steps.  We were expecting fewer people because of the weather.  Surprisingly, God has blessed our fishing boat with four new fishes to join us  for this Sunday’s service.  Let us all give thanks for His blessings and care for the Good Shepherd Richmond Church.

The Good Shepherd (Richmond) ladies will have their first prayer meeting Sunday Jan 22 in the afternoon.  The prayer meeting will be held after lunch from 3 pm to 5 pm.  Let’s pray for the future of our Church.

Our first regular service at Good Shepherd Richmond was totally blessed with togetherness, uplifting spirit and joy.  We all felt that God has lead us to a perfect place of service, to worship Him and continue to do His work.  The new church is perfect for the number of us and as we grow, there is room to expand. Right after the service we had our first Fellowship Luncheon.  The lunch was prepare by Stella Ho.  An informal discussion on the future of our Church follows.  Overall it is a very uplifting and productive discussion.

Our Thanksgiving Eucharist Service began by the Prayer of Dedication by Rt. Rev. Stephen Leung.  Suffragan Bishop, Multicultural & Asian Ministry of ANiC.  Patens will be Very Rev. Archie Pell and Evangelist Yuk Hing Kong.   There were 93 people present and they come from everywhere to join in our celebration.

Good Shepherd (Richmond) is moving to a new location on 5120 Blundell Road and our move has taken place on Dec 27, 2011. We are blessed with clear sky in the morning when the bulk of our move is taking place. Here are some photo of our move that morning with the help of Good Shepherd Vancouver lending us a hand.
